See your link before you share it
When you paste a link into a chat or a post, the platform pulls a preview from your page. This tool fetches the same data and shows it in three realistic cards: Facebook, X and WhatsApp.
If your page has no Open Graph tags, the preview looks thin and generic. The tool tells you so, and you can use the manual fields to test what a better title, description or image would look like.
How to preview a URL
- Paste the page URL you plan to share.
- Press fetch and wait a few seconds.
- Review the Facebook, X and WhatsApp cards.
- Override the title, description or image to test alternatives.
- Fix your page tags if the preview looks weak, then re-fetch.
Why each platform looks different
Every network uses its own layout rules. Facebook shows a large image with text below. X keeps the card compact in the feed. WhatsApp shows a small thumbnail with the title and description stacked. What looks good on one may look cramped on another.
Practical uses
- Check a blog post before sharing it with readers.
- Verify product links before a marketing campaign.
- Test whether your brand image survives the crop on mobile.
- Compare an old page and a redesigned page side by side.
