What a PDF page rotator does
A PDF page rotator changes the orientation of pages inside a PDF so they read the right way up. You upload a file, see a small preview of every page, and turn the ones that are sideways or upside down by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Only the pages you choose get rotated, while the rest stay exactly as they were. The result downloads as a new file, so your original document is never touched.
When the orientation goes wrong
Most sideway or upside-down pages come from scanning. A document placed the wrong way on the scanner glass, fed through an automatic document feeder back to front, or photographed with a phone held at an odd angle all produce the same problem: the page opens sideways and you have to tilt your head to read it. Mixed documents cause it too — a report in portrait with a few landscape charts, or presentation slides exported as a portrait PDF. Rotating the affected pages puts everything back in a consistent, readable direction before you print, archive or send the file.
How to rotate PDF pages here
Drop the PDF into the box and every page appears as a thumbnail. Click the round arrows under a page to turn it 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise; keep clicking to reach 180 or 270. Each thumbnail shows a badge with the total angle you have applied, and a small reset button appears if you want to start that page over. If the whole document is misaligned, use the rotate-all buttons to turn every page at once, then fix any remaining stragglers individually. When everything reads correctly, click Rotate PDF and download the corrected file.
How rotation works — and what it doesn’t change
Rotation is written into the PDF as a page attribute, so the text, images, fonts and original quality stay untouched; the file is almost the same size as before, just oriented correctly. Because of that it works for scanned pages too — there’s no quality loss from re-encoding, and the rotation becomes a permanent part of the file, not just a temporary view setting. One small thing to keep in mind: rotation only turns pages in whole 90-degree steps, so a scan that is tilted by a few degrees can’t be straightened here. And password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked before their pages can be rotated.
A few tips
Rotation is easiest to review on thumbnails, so do a quick pass over all the previews before downloading. If a page turns the wrong way, just click the opposite direction — 90 degrees clockwise is undone by 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Want to clean up a mixed batch further?
